The Government of India has launched the "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" Initiative to foster national integration. Ch.S.D.St.Theresa's College for Women (A), Eluru inaugurated the "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Club" on 12th November, 2019 following the UGC guidelines of promoting cultural connect & interaction between students hailing from different states.
        The EBSB club is lead by Dr.Sr.Marietta D'Mello, Principal & Dr.Sr.Showrilu, Vice Principal & P.G.Director. The coordinator of the club, Mrs.Santosh Jhawar & co-coordinator Mrs.Nazma took charge along with the student representatives Ch.Anjana II MBN as EBSB President. B.Sonali II B.Com as Vice President & S.Thanmai II BBA as Secretary. The Inauguration of the Club started by a powerful & effective prayer by student sisters in their regional language. Students & Staff members of nearly 10 different states assembled together for the inaugural function.
        Mrs.Santosh Jhawar, Head of the Department of Management studies was the Master of Ceremony Mrs.Nazma spoke about the objectives of the club. Dr.Sr.Marietta D'Mello, Principal gave her message to promote knowledge of culture traditions & practices of different states in our institution with the help of EBSB club. She reinforced the concept of unity in diversity & national integration. Dr.Madhumalati, Head of P.G.Economics gave a lecture emphasizing the importance of culture among the youth.
        The Students belonging to different states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, Odisha, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala Presented folk songs, showcasing their diverse culture in India.
